This July, the seventh successive year of International Stars of Ballet and Dance in Hatch House's glorious Dutch Walled Garden, has a lot to live up to, and of course
we intend to do just that.
The hugely successful 2015 performances treated our loyal and supportive Hatch House audience to our most ambitious programme to date. A weekend of scintillating performances culminated with performances by the world’s greatest male dancer Carlos Acosta. The barre had been set high for 2016.
Not only will this year's audience be treated to a world class programme that meets all expectations but we have also been working hard to improve the whole experience from the first sip of the welcome champagne, through to the exquisite dining and wine menus.
This year’s programme will feature new works by Tim Podesta and Vitali Safronkine and the first choreographic work by Mara Galeazzi as well as classical excerpts from Coppelia, Diana and Acteon and many more. (Full programme to be announced 31/04/2016)
We also are making some major changes front and back of house including a new roof over the walled garden to improve and clean up all the audience sight lines and natural light for the garden, (Click here to support the 'raise the campaign'). Along with the new roof we are building new bespoke artists changing rooms to improve the experience for visiting artists and creatives as well moving and improving the audience bar. The Simonsig Kaapse Vonkle Champagne Bar . The new bar will be set on the lower lawns to receive guests as they arrive and depart.
